Hello Miss Maxie
This young hunk always likes it when you can stop by for a visit. Gives me the excuse to come back and pant, I mean, chat here with you. So you're a shirt-chewer, huh? I like to grab hold of mom's shirt and hold on so she can't get too far away. I've manage to put a few holes in the material doing that but lucky for me, never in a shirt that mattered a whole lot. Mom says she has two wardrobes now; bird shirts and then the rest. My inspiration for deciding that hands-on stuff might be worth a try might've come from watching the crazy Grey Saber. He's a moody character most of the time but in the mornings he throws aside that act and slathers mom with love (and chewed up food), fawning all over her and whining like a puppy the whole time. It's almost embarrassing to watch. Since it's about the only time mom will handle Saber, she takes advantage of the privilege so she can check for signs of continued good health, you know, pudgie spots, smooth skin, any irregularities. Saber will allow himself to be laid upside down on a hand, have his belly rubbed, his feet massaged, anything! Mom was even checking tail feathers the other day. Normally just looking at Saber's tail is enough to get one put on his Hit List. Anyway, seeing how happy it made Saber to get some lovin', I figured I could give it a try and find out if it's actually as good as he makes it sound or if the bird's just certifiably nuts. Turns out, he's not nuts. I'm not to that lay-me-upside-in your hand-yet part, but who knows, with time, I could become as sickeningly sweet as the crazy CAG. Only difference with me is I'm not a closet buddy - I'll take the love anytime mom wants to stop and offer me some. Saber, he plans on keeping it a secret for the rest of his life.

Good luck chasing those cats. They probably need the exercise of running away anyway, right?

Cya!
