Hi Dixie!
I am sooooooo annoyed because dad worked outside all day yesterday blowing leaves and chipping stuff, making all this noise (more than me!) and I was not allowed outside to help him! And to add to the indignity, mom sprayed me again with that "Soother" stuff with that aloe! I laughed when Carter got hers! Mom had to chase my fister all over the floor with the husbird attacking mom! I know dad is going to cook out today so I'd better get some real, quality dad time when he comes home from church! Aunt Jeanne was up yesterday and the moms went to the farmer's market for all sorts of good stuff, fruits, vegetables and best of all nuts in the shell! The cashier checked with mom about the price because it was over $40 and mom said we have 14 parrots and need them. The cashier didn't even blink, strange. That is the most economical place for nuts in the shell, human grade but about 45 minutes away. That's why mom made sure she bought enough nuts for their vacation week in June. Chef Uncle Dave caught 8 trout for the family (we didn't get a nibble) but dad really enjoyed the way mom prepared them. We got lotsa of fresh pineapple which was delicious! So how is my little sweetie's footie? I hope you are feeling better with the nicer weather. Mom is busy getting the rest of the plants outside and our timeshare on the deck all freshened! Are you going to the BBQ today? I know Cu BIrd left with dad with ribs to grill and I saw some dirty rice and kielbasa go out with Miranda. I didn't know she was a ragin' Cajun! Love and winghugs, Cookie
