Hi Charlie ♥
so they are jealous are they, that could be it. I am also looking forward to spending time with you after I win the race...

The curbing guys came here yesterday and put all the curbing in where the twelve new trees are going...mom and dad went shopping today to buy a few more plants. Mom has changed her mind about what she wants and where she wants it...they bought 6 miniature roses for around the fountain and a couple more bushes for the back.
The gardener is going to be here tomorrow to work on planting our 12 new trees and then removing some bushes int the back and putting in the new ones mom wants in their place.

Our little dove seems to have moved on and we have not seen her all day today but it looked like they might have been back looking things over again so we will see. The good news is that the robin's are busy at work making their nest in the other hanging plant basket. It is fun to watch them at work...actually the male at least we think it is the male, stands guard on the front lawn while his mate brings pieces of stuff back to make her nest. He goes back and forth all the time she is in the nest. I read that not many robins make it out of their first year of their life and only live until they are around 6 but some make it until they are 14. Mom is outside on the front porch watching the dad robin out on the grass and watching mom working on her nest.
A bigger black and white bird came near the nest and the male robin took off after it and the female joined him to run off the bigger bird. The male robin came back and sat on our fountain for a minute then he went off and about 5 minutes later they both came back and the female went back in her nest...cool to watch...

Wing hugs and love, Jewels ♦
