Hello Molly
Nice to meet you. This is one of the undeniable perks of winning that BOTD Award ~ the chance to meet guests you'd otherwise not likely converse with. So many potential friends but so little time, right?

As for that unique preference about being the last one out of the aviary, I must confess I think it had more to do with fear of that dreadful trip from the pen to the back door of the house. To this day I'm a tad bit nervous about crossing that great expanse. (40' if that.) There's just something about all that exposure that I don't seem to like. I flutter my wings while leaning as far towards the door as I can get, as if to try and hurry mom in her taxi-service role. The waiting in the aviary is probably more like "take them next while I continue working on gathering up courage." Big chicken, I know. *sheepish grin*

Thank you for the visit on my very special day yesterday~
