Hello birdie baseball fans, it' Cammie and Bourke of the La Habra flock, calling the game, today.
It's a beautiful day in Parrotsville, sunny and 74 degrees with a slight breeze.
Today the Major League Beaks host the Grey't Grey Wings. We'll get the game going in just amomant but first, let's all stand for national anthum.

Oh! say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.
Oh! say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave,
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Ok, Let' get today's game started.

First up is Poirot, Pictuer for the Grey't Grays. He singles to first.
Following Poirot is Arther Alex, who also singles to first, advancing Poirot to Second.
Third up is Monty Mae, with another single. The bases are loaded.
Second baseman, Rusty grounds out. One away.
Next up is Kelly. She swings and gets a double, scoring Poirot and Arthur Alex. Two runs for the Grey's. (+2)
With runners on first and second, Shadow steps up to the plate and also hits a double, scoring Monty Mae. (+1)
With runners on second and third, Miranda hits a triple, scoring Kelly and Shadow. (+2)
Next batter, Tahoe strikes out. Two away.
Rafikki also strikes out and that's it for the Greys in the first inning.

First up for the Major League Beaks is Tia, who starts out with a single.
Nest to the plate is Blue, who hits a triple, scoring Tia. (+1)
Cori walks to the plate and flys out. One away.
Mackenzie hits a single to first, scoring Blue. (+1)
Reba grounds out. Two away.
Next up for the Beaks is Simon, who hits a triple, scoring Mackenzie. (+1)
One of our flower girls, Ruby hits a single, scoring Simon. (+1)
Rio stands, looks the pitcher in the eye and hits a grand slam, scoring himself and Ruby. (+2)
Jasper strikes out and that's the end of the first inning, with the Major League Beaks leading the Grey't Grey wings by one point.
Score at the end of the first, Greys 5, Beaks 6.
