DAY 25
My oldest cousin took me to the ocean in the morning to show me the big rook in the ocean. Beirut was known for the big rock in the ocean. Then we went to go shopping at h&m. But the clothes there weren't as good quality as in Canada. When we cross the roads, there were no traffic lights so cars always honked at each other. They didn't have traffic lights because the government in Lebanon corrupted and in debt. After the war, most of the homes in the city are apartments, houses were expensive to buy. Then we went to have coffee and headed home. I wanted to check on my aunt to see how she was doing. My second older cousin stayed home to look after their mother. My aunt who was suffering from breast cancer was trying to get into the hospital, unfortunately the doctors told us that there is still no room for my aunt and they’ll call when there is a bed available. To be continued……
