I feel so lucky, gettin' a note from you when I know how busy your typist is with all the packin' and organizin' and what not. TWO WEEKS TILL MOVE DAY! HooRAY! Talk about majorly exciting. This is definitely it. I'm just thrilled for you and your family and Mom over gettin' a place of your very one, and one that's extra unique, special and historic. What a cool place t'call HOME>

It has done nothin' but rain, rain, rain here the past 8, 9 days or so. It's rained so much in the last couple of hours, the three foot ditches out front of the house are level with the yard. If I was a duck I could paddle for miles! Thank goodness I'm not, although come t'think of it, I do like to play in water and I always feel like I need t'soak lots of my food before eating it. Mom says I remind her of a silly raccoon.

That picture of my Grandpa Arnold was taken on the last day he held his little son (my mom's dad). The photo was taken out back of a train station in PA. The story goes that he and his regiment held a hill until they ran out of ammunition... I think of him as a hero even though I never had the privilege of meeting him. As for my Marine, he's a retired Marine now having finished up his stint back in October. Ironically, he still works the very same job with the Ospreys, only as a civilian now. He toys with the idea of resigning on the dotted line most everyday. I won't be surprised when he calls home one day and says he's wearing Marine gear again.

Good luck with the packin'. And thanks again for takin' the time t'write t'me. I'm touched.

((BIG OL' MACAW HUG)) for you all!
