Leah, with her neck feathers flared again, takes the first pitch and gets onboard with a single.
Calico, determined to change the score, hits a hard line drive down the first base line for a triple, scoring Leah. (+1)
To the top of the order and here comes Hulk. He connects with a high fly ball to deep right field but it’s caught by Big Baby, for the first out. One away.
Ollie grips the bat and fires one right past SKY and into center field. The throw to first is not in time and Ollie stops at first base, and Calico scores as she slides into home plate. (+1).
Beaker tries to do the same but ends up grounding out. Two away.
Kaji waits for the perfect pitch but doesn’t see any and takes a walk to first. Ollie advances to second.
Ginger catches the tip of the bat and grounds out to RaneBeau, for the third out. But the Pois take the lead by one point. Three away.

Jake isn’t happy about the Pois taking the lead so he hits the first pitch out of the park for a home run. (+1)
Chyna follows with a double.
Big Baby tries her best but ends up grounding out for the first out. One away.
Joshua gets on board with a single down the left field line, as Hal can’t make the throw to first in time, moving Chyna to third base.
SKY has a talk with RaneBeau and sends the ball over the left field wall for a home run, scoring Chyna and Joshua. (+3)
Scarlet follows SKY with a triple but RaneBeau must not have been listening to himself when he had the talk with SKY because he flies out when first base bird Beaker catches the ball. Two away.
Floop tries to match SKY but ends up striking out. Three away.
The Macaws score four runs as we head into the ninth inning, with the score, Pois 19, Macaws 22.
