Starting off the second inning for the Pois is 1st Base Bird, Beaker. He swings and sends a high fly ball into left field. It’s going, going, IT’S GONE! A home run for Beaker. (+1)
Next up is Kaji, who sends a grounder right into the mitt of 1st base bird, RaneBeau, for the first out. One away.
The La Habra flock’s Ginger steps to the plate and smacks a single into left field.
Gizmo comes to the plate but strikes out. Two away.
Pois left fielder Hal, determined to raise the score, swings and connects with a hard hit to left field. Jake tries to make the catch but it’s over the wall for a home run, scoring Ginger. (+2)
Cheyenne tries to copy Hal but sends on to the right field wall for a triple.
Leah flairs her neck feathers but pitcher SKY is not ruffled and sends three over the plate for a strike out. Three away.
Starting off the bottom of the eighth is Chyna who doesn’t like any of the pitches and walks to first.
Following Chyna is Big Baby who takes three fast balls in a row for three strikes. One away.
Joshua Chico hits a fly ball to center field but there’s nobirdy there and Joshua makes it all the way to third, scoring Chyna. (+1)
Next up is the Macaw’s pitcher, SKY, who gets on base with a single, right through the legs of Pois pitcher Hulk, scoring Joshua. (+1)
The Macaw’s catcher, Scarlet, watches three go by for a strike out. Two away.
RaneBeau catches the tip of the bat and grounds out to pitcher Hulk, who throws to first for the third out. Three away.
Score at the end of two; Da Pois N Dem 10, the Mighty Macaws 5.
