Ö> In th’ Top o’ th’ 2nd Innin’
We’re already down t’ Pois’ Catcher Ollie in their Battin’ Lineup an’ he ain’t about to sit down anytime soon. He takes ‘is sweet time an’ waits for one ‘e likes. It never comes, so ‘e decides t’ jus’ stroll on down t’ first base. Pffbbbt! Beaker takes a little more initiative an’ at least swings at it for a Single. It’s Kaji’s impatience … AN’ ‘is Triple that puts ‘im on third an’ scores Ollie an’ Beaker. (+2). Ginger likes what she saw Beaker do, but ain’t quite so good at doin’ it an th’ ball ends up in th’ glove o’ ‘Tiels’ Second BaseBird Silver, Flyin’ off the tip of ‘er bat! (-1) Gizmo dials it back some an’ he’ll take th’ Single, and th’ score for Kaji who had been sittin’ out on third base (+1). Now Hal’s a bird that can do what Kaji did! An’ it’s another Triple for th’ Da Pois’ LeftFielder, scorin’ Gizmo (+1). But ‘e gets left alone on third when ‘Tiels’ Pitcher Zippy strikes out Cheyenne (-1) an’ Pois’ Reserve Boomer’s boomer’s caught out in LeftField by ‘Tiels’ Peepers.

‘Tiels take t’ th’ Offense with not much more luck than in th’ first innin’ when Captain KACEY hits a high Fly Out t’ Pois’ CenterFielder Cheyenne (-1), followed by a Grounder from Joey’s bat straight into Pois’ First BaseBird Beaker’s mitt (-1). Canyon does connect for a Double but gets left on second base with the third out for th’ ‘Tiels on Zippy’s Fly ball (-1).

Score at th’ End o’ Th’ Second Innin’: Da Pois ‘N’ Dem 4 – ‘Tiel Terrors 0
