The RAIDERS are up
A fly ball off ECHO’s bat starts this show with an OUT.
ETHYL whammies a sweet one deep into right field and earns herself a triple.
PEDRO’s fly ball is an easy catch for MLB Ruby in left field. 2nd OUT.
With a runner on third, JENNY’s sweet little single gets the RBI. Ethyl adds (+1).
MAXIE’s walk moves Jen t’second. SCOOBY’s single makes it BASES LOADED!! The Zon have yet another opportunity here t’put some real comfort in the point spread!
It’s ALFIE t’the plate. He’s got that bat up and ready. He swings, connects. The ball’s out there. It’s headed towards the fence.... but WHOA!! MLB Zeena leaps for the catch and pulls the ball down for the final OUT of the inning. Those loaded bases go t’waste.

MLBs: 13

The Beaks have gotta be feelin’ the pressure at this point. Down four, they need this t’be a big inning for’em. But REBA’s walk t’first is the only base action they see. That ain’t gonna do it, Rebz.

The Big Birds take their field positions again.

~~ ~~ ~~ ~~

In an effort t’hold the Raiders, MLB pitcher is puttin’ in some real beauties over the plate. Raider ELVIS is goin’ for it but it’s 3 strikes, 1st OUT.

SUGAR snags a hit but MLB teamwork gets the ball t’their first base bird Cori ahead of Sugar for a 2nd OUT.

Next up, RIO the Zon. He doubles on the hit. ECHO’s single makes it birds on 3rd/1st. ETHYL’s walk makes it BASES LOADED.

PEDRO clobbers the pitch, the ball’s burned out t’right field but Rio and Echo cross home plate (+2) and Pedro makes it around t‘2nd before the runners are stopped. Ethyl’s on 3rd.

2 OUTS still...

JEN~LYNN gets herself walked which again makes it BASES LOADED!!
2 OUTs on the counter...

MAXIE snags a single, scoring Ethyl.(+1) BASES ARE STILL LOADED.

Strike ONE for SCOOBY... strike TWO... and strike THREE — inning over. The MLBs have kept those bases from emptying over the home dish. But the Zons, they added 3 to their side of the board.

@@@ 9th Inning @@@

This is the Beak’s last stand.

RUBY opens with a triple which raises the hopes of the team, I’d bet.

A fly ball to right field becomes the 1st OUT though.

Three strikes at the plate and it’s 2 OUTs.

PEPPY manages t’get himself walked t’first puttin’ birds on 3/1 but a fly ball, caught by a confident Raider makes it 3 OUTs, GAME OVER.

This one goes t’the RAIDERS!! Congrats Zons on your win!

Major League Beaks: 13
Rainforest Raiders: 20
