Hi, Mackenzie
The parronts had to drive in the 100+ temps? Yikes! While we assume that the vehicle had a/c the sun and glare must've still been awful. We only reached the mid 80s on the warmest day and have since returned to the low 70s. Can only guess that any wildlife must've hunkered in the shade as best they could.

Another lil adventure with furball. The parronts took the recycle, trash and yard waste cans out to the curb. Furball was inside. Mom thought she locked the gate, but apparently it didn't catch and swung open. Not too long after furball went out dad went out and saw the open gate and immediately looked for furball. It was already dark, but there's a street light at the end of our driveway and furball being white was easy to spot standing in the street. Mom got some car keys and furball immediately came to jump into the car. Whew! Dad took her for a short walk in lieu of a car ride. Oh, yeah dad says he saw something in the poop too, probably a sock, yuck!

How's the newby doing?

Have a great day, wing hugs, beak kisses and a vote, Pearl and Silver.

PS: Glad that Athena enjoyed her big day.
