Mom will look at Dr F&S on line and see if that carrier would work better for me. How heavy is it? Can your mom carry it?
The endoscopic procedure is call ablation of the dysplasia, and they actually send a current (or maybe radio frequency, Mom isn't sure) thru the scope into the tissue to ablate it. Not sure what ablation means, but the end result is the Barrett's Syndrome tissue is gone.
I cheered for you my friend, as well as RaneBeau, right up till the 9th inning. Then I figured the Macaws needed the help.
Well, today Mom had her first session of Physical Therapy. She was a little nervous, but it went fine. They didn't hurt her shoulder (why she was nervous), and the ultrasound and electrical current treatment actually felt good. She figures it only gets better from here.
And even though it was already 3:00 when she got home, we then had lunch. I ate the pasta, and she ate the pasta and chicken from a Poblano Chicken cardboard lunch. Plus she put extra homemade chili powder on it, so it was quite zippy.
AND Mom was in zumba today for the first time in a week. She made sure not to use her right arm at all, and she made it thru the class without hurting her shoulder at all. Plus since she was able to move training to the hour before Zumba instead of after, she got home in time for most of the baseball game. It was another talon biter, and I do have to say this is the most eggciting season ever!
