|Hi Charlie ♥
I will make sure to tell Chloe how sorry you all are. It was such a shock to hear the news that he was gone so suddenly. He will be missed by so many, he was loved by so many as well. Chloe will miss Gizmo very much...
The roster for the All Star game is up and the only one of our flock made it an that was Taz as Catcher.
Auntie Rose had to come back out to our house to pull a couple more blood feathers for Chica, she had one on each side this time. Mom and dad were out this morning taking mom to a doctor's appointment and when they came home there was a whole lot of blood on the bottom of her cage and she was still bleeding. Mom took her out and put pressure on her wing until the bleeding stopped and she called Auntie Rose. She waited patiently with mom so she could monitor her while Rosie called the baseball game today.
We are so grateful to Auntie Rose that she could come over so quickly and help Chica. Thank you Auntie Rose...Mom also had her trim Scooby's beak and it looks great now...if he would chew wood more like me he would not need to have it done but no...
We are all very upset at Gizmo's passing. Mom has been hurting for Arlene all day since she heard. The loss of any birdie is awful but when it is your friend, it is even harder. Chloe misses her man very much, she is so upset that mom was not able to get on last night so she didn't get to talk to him yesterday...
Mom went to the doc today to see what he has come up with. Dad thinks it is arthritis...the doc had lots of blood tests done and the latest one was for allergies and it showed that she is not allergic to anything that he tested for. The doctor did not have any news for mom, he still is not sure what is causing mom to have so much pain, swelling, and stiffness in her hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders. He is sending her to a neurologist and a nephologist to have some tests done.
Our weather has gotten HOT! HOT! HOT!, it got up to 107º yesterday and is supposed to stay this way for a few days before it cools...haha...down to the mid 90s as if you could call that cool, right. No BBQ if it doesn't cool down to at least the 90s...We ended up at a record high of 107º and right now it is 106º at almost 5pm here. Mom and dad did some grocery shopping after her doctor's appointment and then they stayed home out of the heat...
Stay safe on the 4th, hope none of your family is scared of fireworks...
Wing hugs and love, Jewels ♦
