Starting off the fifth inning for the Mighty Macaws is Floop and Zippy strikes him out for the first out of the inning (-1). Next up is Chica and will you look at that, my sister gets a triple way to go! Malachite thinks that was a great idea and connects with the ball for line drive right past Toby and he keeps running until he stopped at third base when Peepers gives a mighty throw to Toby who holds him on third. Peepers has quite the wing on him. Meanwhile, Chica has run home to score (+1). Jake, the Captain, hits what looks like a good ball but unfortunately for him it is picked up by Silver on second base and he throws it to Grover who tags Jake out (-2). Two outs for the inning now. Chyna steps up to the plate makes a nice swing and gets on base with a single. Big Baby manages to get a walk from Zippy and that means the bases are loaded folks. Can Joshua get any of the runners home? Let’s see, he hits the first pitch that Zippy gives him but it does not make it past Panther the shortstop who wings it to Grover for the third out of the inning (-3). The Mighty Macaws have left all three runners on base but one more run is added to the scoreboard.

It is now the Tiel Terrors turn to see what they can do. They are five runs behind so I think it’s time for them to get started. Mikey is first up and he grounds out for the first out of the inning, not the best way to start out the inning. Grover finds a way to get a walk so now he first base. Silver does the same thing and walks diversion base and of course that means Grover walks on to second. Toby is up next and he connects and the ball is flying through the air, center fielder, Chyna, is watching that ball very closely and she sees it coming down right towards her, she makes a big jump and lo and behold she caught it just before it went over the center field fence for out number two. Panther gets enough of the ball so that he gets to first base. Well here we go again, we have the Bases Loaded with two outs. Peepers is up next and he is watching Sky’s pitches very closely, the first two were close but they were balls the next two were strikes. There comes pitch number five it crosses the plate just a little bit high for ball number three. Okay, Peepers now has a full count this next pitch will determine whether he gets on base or he is out. Sky looks at his catcher, Scarlet, and after a few moments they have decided which pitch he is going to throw. Sky winds up and throws a wicked fastball that goes right past Peepers. The Umpire calls STeeeeeeeRiiiiiiKE for the third out ending the fifth inning.
