Do birdies bounce?? v4u
Hello Little Angel here with THE REST OF THE STORY. I wish to thank every birdie for their part in helping me get out of the big apple tree. It is sure scary way up here, and it's starting to grow dark too.
"The girls told me the plan to help me get down from the tree. It was a good plan and it was sure to work. I HOPED! Then I saw that perfect apple shining in the late afternoon sunshine. So red, so bright and beautiful. There had to be some way to get it"
'We're back" the boys call as they top the hill pulling Sugar's Hello Kitty wagon. " We've brought more help Little Angel. We'll get you down in no time"
Little Angel could see that Hulk, Kiddo and Sweetpepper had joined the growing crowd below. Indy Sam, Poppy and Tiamaria were there too.
" Ok, this is the plan. On the count of three we all begin to shake the tree. We keep shaking until the branch holding Little Angel captive let's go, and she falls safely onto the trampoline." Kiddo explains. It was then that they heard the siren coming up the road. Then the bright red of the BC Fire Truck as it pulled up near the group below the tree. Popeye and Jenny-Lynn hop out and run to join the birdies under the tree.
"Glad you are here. We need all the wings we can to help shake Little Angel out of this tree" Hulk exclaims
"Ok, ONE, TWO TWO and a half, THREE. WAIT we don't have the trampoline in place." Dixie and the boys position right under the branch where Little Angel is stuck.
"OK, ready? ONE, TWO THREE" all the birds begin to shake the Apple Tree. Suddnely the apples begin to fall like heavy rain causing all the birdies to flee in fright. It was at this exact moment the branch began to crack.
"OHHH" I screamed as I heard the branch above crack, and begin to snap. Suddenly it let go and Iw as falling towards the trampoline below. "AHHHHHHHH, where's everyyyyyyyyy birdiieeeeeeee" I hit the trampoline at full speed, and of course being a trampoline I just as quickly bounced right back up into the heavy branches above. I rose high above the tree top. On my way back down I reached out with my wings and grabbed my apple, and held on tightly. Up I bounced again and again. On my seventh trip back up into the tree out of no where a pair of strong talons grabbed me, and carefully dropped me onto the soft grass below the tree. The wings flapped to the ground, and there was Miss Chirps.
