Hi Cookie!
I'm sure glad we don't have much humidity down here or it would be really miserable for many months! My dad bikes every morning and comes back all sweaty and very smelly. I'm with you about not hanging around with sweaty parronts! He just stinks! After he swims and showers, I love to hang on him though!
My mom said to ask your mom if she's ever checked out the Cornel Univ. web page for the school of ornithology? They have a lot of lesson plans and activities for teachers of all levels that deal with all sorts of birds. She just got an email about new lesson plans and stuff. Their program is called BirdSleuth. The webpage is or your mom can google it and find all the stuff. They even have cameras in the sanctuaries to watch birds and nests.
Well, gotta fly - looks like it may rain outside so mom has to run and cover the aviary! Big hugs!
