The Three Eyed-Scary Monster Adventure
July 11th
Hello to all my friends on Bird Channel. It is yet another sad day as we say "see you later my friends" to Chi Chi(27169) and to Bob White (249789). Both birdies left us for the beautiful Rainbow Bridge leaving both family and friends saddened and missing them.
Little Angel here with "The REST OF THE STORY".
" Finding myself safely on the ground Dixie
wraps his wings around his Little Angel and holds me tightly! Kissing me ever so softly on my beakie he looks into my sweet, but mischievous eyes and tells me just how much he loves me, and that he can't rest for a minute because even the most innocent things I do always turn into something of an adventure! As we Walked down the BC Hill wing in wing Dixie asked me to try to not get into any trouble today. When all the BC birdies reached Dixie's house he took me to where his Mom keeps the baking utensils. "We'll need some very large pie plates," he tells me,"lets look in here. Dixie opens the hutch door and we both peer inside."AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Dixie and Little Angel scream as a big three eyed monster glares out of the darkness at them. "Oh Little Angel Dixie pants, what is that monster doing in my Mom's cupboard?" Dixie peers carefully into the blackness then quickly retreats.
" I doooonnnooot know Dixie, but we have to trap it so we can get the pie plates." Little Angel looks carefully into the cupboard as the three eyed monster sits in the darkness watching her. " Ok, let's make a plan. We have to make it come out so we can trap it some how. I wonder what we can use to lure it out?" Little Angel sits down on the floor a safe distance from the open cupboard door with her wing tip on her chin.
A serious look crosses her face as she thinks through this problem. "I've got it Dixie. We can use an apple to draw the monster out, then we can jump on it and hold it still until we can tie it up with this piece of string. ( Little Angel holds up a length of red and white string she found in her back pack)."
"It looks pretty big Little Angel. Maybe we should use a net to trap it? We can take one of my Mom's tea towels and when it sticks it's head out we can drop the towel on it and wrestle it to the floor. Together, we can carry the three- eyed monster outdoors and let it go in the wild.."Dixie and Little Angel stare into the scary, black cupboard..
See you all tomorrow with the REST OF THE STORY
