L'il Angel here with the REST OF THE STORY!
July 18th
Hello, it's Little Angel with the REST OF THE STORY. Now, that the scary three red-eyed Monster is gone you'd think things would get back to normal? But then on the other wing, things sure would get dull around here! Dixie & Little Angel back off from the cupboard and hang onto each other for dear life!"How are those Monsters all getting into the cupboard without us noticing or even seeing or hearing them?" Dixie asks! "Where did the new juicer go to and how did it leave here without any of us seeing it either?" Dixie pulls Little Angel close to him and wing in wing hauls her outside to think things over a little.....Now, thinkin' can be pretty hard when you have a mystery at hand. No birdie had thought of the fact we hadn't seen Chuey since he stepped in front of that cupboard. What possible had become of Chuey??
"I sat down under that shady bush where Dixie and I like to play on hot days, and thought hard and long about all this Monster business and disappearing birdies and appliances.
"Dixie, let's play on the swings for a while. I'll go find Dino, Pico, Snowflake and Baby. We can play and think at the same time!" Little Angel wanders off in search of their friends and shortly returns with every birdie including Oki and Leroy we headed around the back of the house. Dixie was there busily filling up the wading pool with water from the garden hose. Dino and Oki lent a wing and soon everything was ready for a day of fun and play.
The birdies raced and flew having a greyt game of birdie tag until they are all hot and ready for a swim break. Pico and Snowflake carefully peer into the wading pool checking for any red three-eyed Monsters. Finding it all clear they leapt into the cool water splashing everyone. "Come on, last one into the pool is a cackleberry" The yard was filled with happy squeals and laughter. It was then, while I was splashing away in the pool that the thought came to me to play on the swings for a while. "Surely, I couldn't get into any mischief while swinging!"
"Dixie, come and swing with me!" I called on the upward push into the air, " we can play pilots and pretend to be flying in an airplane." Dixie quickly climbed up onto the other swing and pumped hard to get going.
"WEEEEEEEEEE. This is lots of fun Dixie" Little Angel pumped harder to gain more altitude. Dixie and I swung back and forth, back and forth. "Come on Dixie, let's go higher" Little Angel called happily. Her talons touching the huge pine tree in the yard.
All of a sudden Dixie saw that his Little Angel had disappeared. " Little Angel? Little Angel where are you?" Dixie looked into the thick pine branches, but Little Angel was no where in sight. HE slowed his swing down quickly and hopped off before it stopped. " HELP every one, Little Angel has disappeared...."
See you tomorrow with the REST OF THE STORY.
