Hi Blue Berry,
You seem to really keep yourself busy with all those birds, Chipper seems a lot easier. Don't forget, he's just one bird. Every day I clean out his dishes with hot soapy water. I give him a little food with vitamins. When he is done with that, I give him fresh food and clean water. I make sure he has clean hay in his nest and his cage is clean. That's about it.
So you think a cockatiel is nice. I had been thinking of that. I was considering a ringed-neck dove but they are big. I think I would like a small bird ( cockatiels are not that big) but I would like a bird that will bond with you. I have heard people say that cockatiels are nice birds. Are they biters? Are they cuddly birds? I would appreciate any information you can give me.
So, your niece re-read her book. How did she like it? I'm curious if it is the same book that I have. Just this morning I read something on the internet that diamond doves do not like to be handled and they do not like to be petted. But I take mine out of the cage and pet him all the time. He stays with me so I guess he doesn't seem to mind.
Keep in touch and let me know how your niece is doing too.
