Hi Sassy
Welcome to BC. I am happy to see you are settling in well in your new home. Changing homes can be pretty scary. I see you are a plucker. Parrots pluck for so many reasons like Oz said.
Things to check for are; what diet did you eat prior to moving? Some birds can not eat certain brands--have allergies to certain ingredients.
A visit to an avian Vet is a good idea because often times the problem is illness. Birds develop skin conditions such as fungus that leads to plucking.
Boredom can also be a cause. Some parrots need a lot to do to keep them happy--foraging toys, grooming toys, boxes to rip up, etc etc
I'm here to welcome you, but if you need any help see my Momma she knows quite a bit about birds after 35+ years raising them. But some birdies like our Little Angel just developed a stress related behavior that has remained years later.
yours SKY
