Hello, Little Angel here with THE REST OF THE STORY. At last it is Friday once more and another weekend is only hours away. I wish you all a greyt weekend. Thank you one and all for your votes and encouraging comments.
"I was happily swinging with my sweetheart Dixie, while our friends splashed and played in the pool." Come on, let's go higher" I called to Dixie as I pumped harder to gain altitude. My talons touched the pine tree near by. As I swung up I saw it. In the tree branches just out of reach. Bright and shiny in the sunlight. Well, being curious, I simply had to take a closer look."
Dixie was frantic and very worried that all of a sudden his Little Angel had disappeared on him again. He screamed his loud green cheek conure scream which sent everyone to his side in a flash! Little ANGEL!!!LITTLE ANGELLLLL!!!Dixie cried, the more he screamed her name the more upset he got! Looking by the huge pine tree in the yard that Little Angel was last seen touching with her talons he scoured every bush, tree branch and shrub that is there on the ground! Everybirdie takes a section of yard and starts pulling tree branches apart, overturning tree limbs going in and out of tall grass patches anything that might be hiding Little Angel on him! "Oh,I should never have let you out of my sight!" Dixie sits down by the tree he last saw Little Angel's talons touch while she was swinging, and begins to cry in fear and loss of his sweet love being gone.
" Wanting to see what the shiny thing in the tree was I jumped as high and far as I could jump off of the swing. I landed safely on a soft pine branch. Just below me was the shiny thing I had seen will on the swing. I worked my way along the branch to the trunk and leaned down for a better look."
"CAWWWWWWWWW!" The loud sound startled me and I let go of the branch and tumbled down into a soft grass and twig lined bed. "CAW, CAWWWWW!" The BIG black bird screamed at me, tilting its head to the side. Then I saw the shiny thing, sitting among the soft grass. slowly inching my wing towards it I reached to pick it up.
"Where did you find this? " i asked of the Big black bird. "CAWWW" he yelled at me, then stood looking intently as I rolled it around in my wing tip.
"I held it up to the sun, and watched as the light glimmered and bounced off the branches in reds, blues and yellows. " It's very pretty."
It was just then that I heard the soft peeping behind me. Cautiously I turned my head to see two tiny eyes looking up at me.
The little chick peeped softly once more then moved closer until he sat right next to me on the soft bed. Holding onto the shiny thing with one wing I leaned over to get a closer look.
"CAAAAAAWWWWW!!!' screamed the big black bird as he hopped onto the bed of grass and twigs. He took one look at the tiny creature, then turned to glare at me.......
See every bird tomorrow with THE REST OF THE STORY.
with love, hugs and votes
