Hi Peetie--
Thanks for the condolences. We are getting used to life without Montgomery...Phoebe and Aloysius, his cage-mates, were confused for awhile, but they are back to their abortive attempts at nest making. They are very funny. They tug and tug at the raffia bundle until they get a strand out, they bring it over to the nest, then they drop it on the cage floor. Sometimes they go down and stare at it, as if it were the rafia's fault it was down there.

Speaking of nest-making...that is some green bathroom I see down there! Did it just get painted? It's very striking...I think all rooms should be bright like that. The Moms' bathroom is my favorite room in the has plants, running water, and lots of places to perch. What more could you ask for?
