Hi Malachi
Hi to all my wonderful BC friends and family. Little Angel here once more with THE REST OF THE STORY.
"Well, there I sat in the yucky, ucky, sticky muck, thinking just how I was gonna get myself outta there. I tried to call out but the mud was go heavy I wasn't able to open my beak to yell. I have found myself in some pretty sticky situations but this definitely was the worse so far.
Dixie and the others were listening and looking for any clues as to just where Little Angel went to and he could've sworn he'd heard something like a kind of a "thunking" sound coming from the trees further down the park area. Dixie tried looking up into the tall pines, sheilding his eyes from the glare of the sun with his wings,at the same time trying to listen, but all he heard was the big black birds'"CawCaws" calling out to one another! "Little Angel"! Little Angel" PLEASE ANSWER ME! Dixie calls hysterically! JUST WHERE ARE YOU! LITTLE ANGEL! LITTLE ANGELLLLL! As Dixie stood by one of the big tall pine trees,he slides down and sits in a crumpled heap by the base of the pine tree, tears falling like rain now.
"Don't worry Dixie, we'll find Little Angel" Dino assures him.
"Sure, we'll keep looking. She's here somewhere. Bird's don't just disappear. Not even Little Angel." Snowflake adds.
Leroy, Pico, Baby and Oki head off to the left, while Dixie and Snowflake wander through the tall pines towards the pond where the Moocher Ducks live.
"L'il Angel? L'il Angel?" call the birdie search party. I could hear them heading off the wrong way, then suddenly I could hear Snowflake's soft voice calling and Dixie too. They were walking towards where I was mired in the muck. I struggled to get up but just when I got one foot under me, I slipped in the muck and got in an even worse mess.
" Dixie, let's look by the pond" Snowflake said as the two friends walked towards the pond.
"DIXCYEGUFJLE!" I screamed to get their attention, "SWONWFLECKTYDHSK" was all that came out.
"What was that noise Dixie?" The two stopped dead in their tracks
"I'm not sure, let's go take a closer look"
Cautiously they pushed their way through the long grass and pine trees until they arrived at the edge of the big mud puddle.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEE!" screamed Dixie and Snowflake. "A monster"
"I pushed and I pushed to get myself up so they'd see it was me.
"OH NO, it's after usssss!!!!" yells Dixie.
"Wait, look!" Snowflake pointed to a tiny speck of green. " It's Little Angel!" Dixie looked closer, and there it was, a tiny little patch of green feathers. " Little Angel, don't worry we'll save you."
Turning around Dixie screams loudly, " EVERYONE we found her, she's stuck in the yucky, ucky muck puddle. We need help to get her out......"
See you all Tuesday with the REST OF THE STORY,
with love, hugs, and voties
