Hi chipper. Yes I think waiting will be the best for her right now to. She's got a lot on her right now. She was here Sat for the party and played with BB a lot. I felt bad for her. She loves animals as much as I do.
Every bird has its own personality. Neither of my cockatiels bite. Lol but they are so different. I really think you would love one. They are great. My conure Bandit he bites if he's mad or annoyed. Lol but I love him so much. He only bites my husband bad. So I don't get him out where he can reach him.
Snowman loves his head scratched he will close his eyes and turn his head. He's very vocal lol. Loudest cockatiel ive ever heard. Tater is super quite and sits and plays with every ones hair.
Let me know if you decide to get one. You will really enjoy them
