Happy Humpday to all my BC friends!!!
Happy Humpday everybirdie. Little Angel here with THE REST OF THE STORY! I sure love reading all your comments and helpful ideas of how we should get out of that yucky, ucky muck!
"Well now, isn't this a greyt idea? We have 6 birdies in the muck to rescue" Chuey comments aloud.
As the group looked on, Chirps comes strolling by and sees all the birdies in the mud! "Hey, nobirdy told me it was mud bath day!" She hops in and starts scooping mud all over!
Oh no! cries Little Angel, now you're stuck in here with us!"
"Stuck?" says Chirps, "I'm not stuck!" She tries to get out and finally says, "well I guess we should just lie back and enjoy the theraputic effects of the mud!"
"Does that mean you're stuck?" asks Dixie.
Yes, yes I guess I am. But all things are to the good for those who love Him!"
Spot goes off laughing, "yeah, you could all pretend to be chocolate birds and wait for somebirdy to come and gather you all up for dinner!Hahahaha!!!"
Spot goes off laughing to tell his friends at the Kissing Booth (163138). All the birdies begin to laugh and giggle as they watch Pear,. Oki, Leroy, Peatree and L'il Angel slipping and sliding in the yucky, ucky muck.
"Sorry about letting go of the was either that or land in the mud too." Pico calls. Frowning at the thought of all that muck on her perfect feathers.
Cookie arrives to join the others, "Oh Little Angel at least when this is over your skin will be pretty ! A real mud bath - just like the spa"
Dixie now beside himself with grief because now instead of just Little Angel in the mucky muck there went Pearl,Leroy,Oki,Dino and Peatree in the mucky mess also! Now he has to find a way to get all six of them out somehow!
"I am not too sure I was enjoying this muck bath but it sure was getting awful full out here in the puddle. With much pushin' and slippin' I managed to stand up and wipe mud from my face"
Seeing all the birdies on the grass giggling and laughing was just too much and I started to giggle myself, then the others in the muck were all laughing too. It's always best to make the most of a sticky situation, Momma Deb tells me"
Dixie gets the rest settled down long enough to make a plan. "We'll all hold onto the rope and Silver and Dory will throw it out into the mud. We will pull them out, one at a time." Dixie and the others get a firm grip on the rope. Dory and Silver together toss the rope far out into the muck. One by one, the birdies on the grass pull their friends out of the mud puddle.
"Ok, L'il Angel, you are next. When we throw the rope out grab hold tightly with your talons. One, two, three" the rope sails smoothly out to where L'il Angel is mired. She grabs hold of the rope with both feet. "Ok, pull me out! OH NOOOO, wait!" L'il Angel bends down to grab something, causing the rope to tighten........
See everyone tomorrow with the REST OF THE STORY.
