Good morning Chloe
How's everything with you? I imagine you miss chatting with Gizmo so much and miss that feeling of having that special somebirdie out there that loves you. I'm still so sorry about your losing Gizmo. It's the saddest thing...

Looks like you've taken up the role of Food Service Director, according to the two new pictures. Perhaps you've always been the Director but you've recently acquired new wheels on which to deliver meals. I see you have a number of flight feathers. Are you getting close to be a flighted wonder? Will those get to stay or is flightless a requirement at your home? I'm a trimmed critter at the moment though I imagine, if I behave myself, any feathers that grow in now will be allowed to stay although after the stunt I pulled out in the aviary the other day, maybe I'll never be allowed flight feathers again. Long story short, I squeezed out the top of the aviary roof!! Yup. Pulled a fast one on mom. A rope curtain had been hung up to keep Alfie from accidentally flying out. It never crossed mom's mind that I might use said rope to reach the ceiling and even if she had thought about it, she wouldn't have worried because the spacing between the boards up there are all set too narrow for a bird to get through. Or so she thought. There's obviously one that's a little wider and that's the one that I climbed to. Beak marks and talon scratches on the top side of the board confirmed that I did indeed escape through the slightly wider gap. Needless to say, the rope curtain is back down and it's back to being impossible to reach the ceiling. There shouldn't be anymore finding me standing on the roof of the aviary!

How about us Grey't Grey Wings and our recent WINS!! Is this more like it or what! Feels so much better to win a few every now and then, doesn't it. You're such a motivated coach and the team's such an enthusiastic group, it only seems right that we come away with a win at least every now and then. Hope more of them are in our future. Looks like we don't have another game 'till the 1st of August and it's against the Kevlar Keets. It's on a Thursday which means RaneBeau will be the beak in the announcer's booth. Oh joy. Thanks for all you do for our team. It's a pleasure playing ball with you, Chloe.

Hope your Friday's a sweet one and the weekend an enjoyable experience. Will your Dad be racing this one?

Your friend, Kelly
