Hello again Rusty!
Sounds like you and me both have had a tougher time this summer with checking our BC mailbox. I've not been by my page as faithfully as I used to be. Oh my, I can remember when I'd have mom check my page before she even got out of bed in the morning. Here recently I'm logging in only if I've got a game. Isn't that pathetic. And no, we don't have a game today, just in case you're wondering. I'm here because the office work is done early and it rained this morning (finally) so yard work's being ignored while everything's still wet. The house work's being ignored too so I can get a note or two out instead. Yeah!

Sounds as though your Mom's garden is doing really well this summer. Can you see the garden from your aviary? It'd be greyt if you could, that way you'd be able to keep an eye on her while she's picking more tomatoes. Speaking of that red fruit, middle son here has recently taken up eating tomatoes, something he refused to do in his earlier years. All of a sudden now he can't get enough of them! The parronts just look at each other in complete shock at the change in this guy's taste preferences. Max slices up a couple of big 'maters, scarfs them down then decides to cut up a couple more. He could definitely help consume your garden's bounty!

As for how things are with the "new addition", it's going greyt having Arthur as a new frother. It really is. I feel bad for him though as I think he's missing Jen and his Dad. He seems sad sometimes which is understandable seeing as so much has changed for him. When he first got here he did a lot of that nervous squeaking, (Mom begged me not to pick that sound up and so far, so good.) but this week there's been very little of it. In fact yesterday, Art was brought into the kitchen while still in the travel cage, having just come in from outside, and set on the middle table, the one that I'm suppose to stay on when hanging out with mom, and he didn't squeak but one tiny time. I was really impressed by that since he's not been in the kitchen before and it was all new sights for him. Fortunately Art doesn't seem nervous or scared, just quiet and observant. Hopefully one of these days he'll find himself feeling much more comfortable and ready to be the ART we all know and love. I can't wait to hear him launch into his chatter sessions or play in his crazy wound-up way. It'll be nice to see him feeling happy and enthusiastic about being a part of the McFlock.

I'd best let you go. I've kept you long enough. Here's hoping your Friday's a sweet one and the weekend looks good too.

Kisses from Kelly *v*
