The Little Dragons fall prey to the Beak’s big game defense moves: MICKY fly outs {-1} (nice catch, MLB Zeena on third), The BIRD strikes out {-2}, and JADE’s’ grounder is thrown to MLB first base bird Cori for the 3rd OUT.

~~~ ~~~
MLB CORI makes it to third on a whale of a hit deep into left field. MACKENZIE’s grounder is the 1st OUT. {-1} When ZEENA singles, Cori scores (+1). When PEPPY singles, Zeena makes it to second. RUBY’s fly ball barrels its way right into QLD Jade’s right field mitt for a 2nd OUT. {-2} RIO joins Zeena and Peppy on base with another base-worthy hit which makes it BASES LOADED with big birds! JASPER drills a base-worthy hit, scoring Zeena and keeping the bases loaded with Major League Beaks. (+1) A strike out for ZIGGY though makes it 3 OUTS and opportunity lost.
Again, the Little Dragons are denied the chance to put a run on the board. KIWI flies out, QUINCY strikes out and Photon’s big hit is caught, no problem-o.
~~~ ~~~

If the Dragons aren’t going to be allowed to score, then they’re not about to let the Beaks do it either. TIA’s struck out for starters {-1}. BLUE’s given a walk but he gets no further than first base after CORI’s pop fly is caught {-2} and MACKENZIE’S struck out {-3}.
