To let you know;
The MAJOR LEAGUE BEAKS had a great practice session this morning at Kevlar Memorial Stadium;

The MAJOR LEAGUE BEAK TEAM
arrive en masse for an early morning field practice session.

Okay BEAKS, for today's practice session, I'd like to see the ball thrown between three players after being caught before it's returned to the pitcher's mound.

With that, the team take their field positions; Tia on the mound, Blue behind the plate, Cori on first, Mackenzie on second, Reba at third, Simon covering short stop, Ruby out in left field, Rio in the center, Jasper over in right field, Ziggy up at short field.

Reserve Zeena selects a bat, steps to the plate and readies for Tia's first pitch of the day. Her swing produces a hit that burns it's way past second, just out of reach of Mackenzie's glove. Rio comes up to the meet the bouncing ball, catches it, whips it Reba who burns it across to Cori who then returns it to Tia on the mound.

"Nice hit, Zeena!"

Tia quickly sends in another pitch which Zeena slugs out to left field where Ruby is there to greet it. She whizzes the ball to Mackie on 2nd who drills it into to Blue at home. Blue returns it to Tia.

This routine continues until Zeena has had ten turns at batting. Peppy steps to the plate to take a crack at batting. Zeena heads out to left field and Ruby comes in to warm up for a turn at bat.

The plays are quick and smooth, fast and on-the-mark. Teammates call out encouragement and compliments to each other as a great catch is made or a nice connect is accomplished.

The MLB'S practice session shows a team that's confidently working towards being ready for Friday's game.

After each team member has had a turn at bat, the MLBs clear the field, gather up their gear and head for the exit, talking amongst themselves about how good that session felt.

On an interesting note, I believe we were being watching by a lone dark feathered figure up in the stands. For all the details, visit our TEAM PAGE.

More practice throws between random teammates is encouraged for Wednesday.
