Day 5 in the Castle
Hi every birdie, Queen Little Angel here with THE REST OF THE STORY. I must first let you all know how much fun it is here at the castle. Having so many of you staying with me makes it all the more eggciting.
Queen Little Angel wakes up early on Monday morning ready to go exploring. With her frother Sky off to visit his Miss BB what better time then now to sneak off to the dungeon, way down deep under the castle.
Last night as she slept in her comfy bed, Queen L'il Angel had dreamed a dream. In the dream a beautiful lutino Ringneck had come to visit her from the Rainbow Bridge.
"Hello, Queen L'il Angel. I'm Sunny, and I've come to warn you about the dungeon. Do NOT go there, it is very scary and very dangerous. BUT if you MUST I shall watch over you to keep you from harm."
Queen Little Angel clearly remembered the dream as she sat for just a moment on the edge of her bed. " I'll go down to the dungeon today and look around with my friends. It can't be THAT SCARY". Hopping down Queen L'il Angel stretches her wings and checks her reflection in the mirror. "Time for breakfast at the magic dining table. I love that table it gives me whatever I ask to eat and I can even change my mind. I'll have to look into getting myself one for my cage at home."
Heading to the bedroom door, she pulls it open quietly. " Good morning your highness!" comes the response, making Queen Little Angel jump. " OOOHHH, I thought I was alone at this early hour." The guard opens the door more to allow Queen L'il Angel to pass by. Walking softly to the stairs, she is surprised that everybirdie is already up and about. Seeing Dixie she rushes to join him for breakfast. " Good morning!" Queen L'il Angel calls as she enters the dining room. "Dixie sweetheart, I hope you slept well!" Dixie stands up and hugs his Little Queen close kissing her softly on the beak. " Yes. Come, join me for breakfast so we can get exploring sweetie."
"I think I'd like pancakes today, with real maple syrup, maybe scrambled eggs and multi-grain toast." Poof, it appears before her. "One could get to like this Dixie" smiling she bows her head to say a blessing and dives into the hot, delicious food.
"Polly, so nice to see you this morning. Cydney, you look ready for adventure in that outfit." Queen L'il Angel finishes her food and swipes her beak. " orange juice would be nice too." The glass appears from no where. Drinking all of her juice, she stands up "EVERYONE READY FOR ADVENTURE???" the room echos with "yes, ready and a few OH NOOOS. Cookie, I heard that OOHHH NNOOO!" she giggles and begins to share her dream with her friends. "Let's go then. Off to the dungeon. The room grows very quiet as birdies look to one another nervously. Don't worry, it can't be that scary" The group gathers behind Queen Little Angel and they begin their first adventure.
See you tomorrow as we go to the dark, scary dungeon together..
with love Queen L'il Angel
