Hi Dixie
I dont get grouchy and am usually very lovey with mom but sure can get loud. Mom has to constantly watch over me too to make sure I am not toe tapping .Sometimes I pull out feathers and seem to get more infections easily then other species too. Our feathers that are going to molt turn black on the ends so that can give a vet or others the wrong idea like they could be stress bars but they arent. Its just an ekkie thing and seems more happens to the males then the females we think. Glad your mom got her clothes all dried before the rain came. Mom did hers today too again and they all dried nice too. Oh that poor little sparrow and hope its ok. Mom gives me millet and I make a real mess in the house too. I sit on the door opening and eat it and goes all over the floor. Mom has a little dust pan and broom under my condo she pulls out for those quick clean ups. Well the parronts got that thing together that came from Foster and Smith and it’s a big play gym for me! I am not so sure about it though and one has to be very cautious of new things to make sure they are safe first. So far I just stared at it other then the times mom set me on it for just a bit. Its right beside my condo so if I decide its safe enough I could just get over on it that is if its safe like I say. Mom did get me on it and took a picture and its in my gallery if you want to see it. These things have to be done with lots of time. My old play gym just had a plastic pipe coming up from the base and then other parts off that but it was loose. Dad had put washers on it so the screws didn’t pull thru more but that wont last long mom says and she didn’t want me getting hurt on it. “Friendship isn’t a big thing, it’s a million little things.“ Thanks for being my friend, Gus. (RIP Chi chi).
