Mornin' Chica
(I'm whispering so I won't wake ya up 'cause I bet you're still sleepin' at this hour of the day. Me too!)

Yup, I was one wet bird in those shower pics and I'm hoping it happens again t'day. It's set t'hit 90° which will be perfect for gettin' soaked again. The things I'm concerned about now is that after today, the temps just sort of start sliding towards the 70s. A parrot can't get all soakin' wet when it's that cool. Normally this time of year I'm havin' to time my aviary visits for when it's not the hottest part of the day. Normally this time of year the sun shines straight in the parrot pen in the afternoons and about bakes us. That's not happenin' this year what with it being unseasonably NICE. Last year a huge cloth (two queen-sized white sheets, sewn t'gether end-to-end) was draped on the side of the aviary to create a little shade in the late afternoon. This year it's not been necessary t'put that thing up once.

Glad t'hear you had your parronts home all day on Saturday. Everyone probably enjoyed that, including the parronts.

Hug? I'm dry!
