Hi again Josh
So Blue's stealin' your lines, is he? Proves you're having a positive influence on him!

As for moving Art around, at this point Mom is still just lettin' him do whatever he wants which is basically just hang out in or on top of his cage. Knowing that she wasn't going to go to any extreme like towelin' him just t'get him outside, she was thinkin' he'd likely miss out on the rest of summer aviary time. After two days of his sittin' in the house while the rest of us went out, mom thought she'd hold the travel cage up to his door and see what he did. Low and behold, the guy steps into it! Piece of cake! Now, if she needs t'transport him, she just gets out the travel cage, he steps inside and off he goes to wherever. He's not tried out the play perches in the kitchen or front room yet. He just stays put in the travel cage. When he first got here he was doin' a lot of that nervous squeakin' Greys seem t'do when they're worried. Art doesn't do that in the bird room anymore and it happens less and less when he's out in the rest of the house. I hope that means he's gettin' comfortable. Mom's workin' to put the step-up stick in a good light for him, having it in her hand whenever she offers Art a treat. Hopefully he'll come t'see that the stick's a good thing. He'll get t'enjoy the benefits of stepping up just like you do now. Way t'go, J.C.!

If you happen t'be at the WonderWings/Tiel Terror game t'morrow, I know it because of the conures on your head. HA HA!!
