The Legend of Captain Jack's Treasure
Hello every birdie, Queen Little Angel back after a short absence with THE REST OF THE STORY.
Dixie & Little Angel head to the right and as they start walking in that direction they feel a cold chill whizzing by them! All of the birdies trapped below get a sudden chill up and done their spines. Too scared to move frozen in place, they try to see any images they can configure in the darkness,if any at all! Turning to the left, holding their wings out stretched wingtips dragging along the cool, clammy, dank, dismal castle walls,Dixie cries out in surprise! "Oh,I just felt something along this wall!" He brushes his wingtip back over the space on the wall that he thought felt different, raised and not flat or stoney like the wall usually was! Locating the place he grips something!"What is this?????" escapes Dixie's beak as suddenly the floor opens and all the birdies are sent falling down a smooth, winding tunnel. Screams of fright and startle coming from everyone. Unable to grasp anything the group of terrified birdies plummet downwards.
Coming to an abrupt stop at the bottom on a large pile of hard, round and oval shapes.
"Where are we?" cries Cookie, grabbing Dino and Cori close. " I don't know but it's dark and cold in here." Polly says nervously.
"Dixie?" Queen L.A. calls trying to feel for him in the blackness.
"I'm here sweetheart" Dixie calls trying to crawl over to where he heard Little Angel's voice.
" We have to stay calm. Let's see if we can find out what we landed on. Maybe it'll be a clue as to where we are and help us to escape..." Queen L.A. exclaims trying to think of a plan.
Willie looks around to see where the others have disappeared to. " Hello? Where are you guys?" Willie frowns and tries the door. " HHHMMM, locked tight" Thinking for a second he decides to follow the long, dark hallway to the coke machine and suit of armour. As he walks carefully along he recalls the description his friend Angel Sunny had told him of her visit to the dungeon. "Ok, just around this corner.." Willie continues along the hall. "There it is. I'll take the elevator up and see if they went upstair to the main floor. If not, Popeye can help me find them" Pushing the button he steps into the opened door.
"Whatever this is, it is cold, hard and taste: sputter, spit, UUUCKKK, bad like metal" Queen LA says out loud. Rubbing a piece on her feathers she tries to see it in the dark. "I think I found some diamonds and rubies over here" Snowy says eggcitedly.
"Yes, there is a big box here, with a large lock on it." Chirpy tells everyone. "I think we've found the long hidden treasure of Captain Jack"
Every birdie stands very still and quiet. A ripple of fear passing over them. They had all heard the scary tales of the Captain and the curse on the treasures he hid deep within the BC Castle long, long ago.
See you tomorrow with THE REST OF THE STORY
love Queen Little Angel
