Hi Chloe...
I am really late in doing everything today, but I helped Mom clean the bird room today. She did all the walls and windows and the cages and I kept throwing pieces of my box all over the floor... she gave up after a while, and said the floor is for tomorrow. LOL Mom packed me up some fresh grapes and nuts - she is in relax mode now and told me to have fun. As for Marley, she never got sick in the car before this time. Marley is a Green Wing macaw. She is really sweet and she was in the dance off here in BC several years ago. You may not have been here then. Mom does not know the whole story but she fell as a chick and her beak is not straight so it grows strange and needs to be field every couple of months. It is growing faster now that she is older. When she plays with it with her tongue, mom knows it is time. The one who really gets sick a lot is Floop. We can be in the car for a short trip and he is violently ill. Mom has heard of giving ginger, but she is afraid of giving anything before travelling. She is going to have to try it, because even when we moved from the city, she knew it would not be a good move for Floop but it had to be done. It was planned to be a non stop trip, and then at one point, she decided to make one stop at the coffee shop, and check on the birds. The guy who was helping asked what was wrong and she asked that he please wait in the big truck while she check on the birds... it was agreed that there was to be no contact with the birds because they have birds but not vet tested. This friend and his son were helping by driving the big van with the cages, and a ton of boxes of bird supplies. once at the new house, there were people waiting to unload the truck and Mom took care of getting the birds settled in. She had 2 birds that had been ill - Floop and one of the Greys. She had been made so stressed out by her friend's son, who is highly over excitable, she does not even remember which Grey. Thank goodness we are all settled in now. LOL So - you are going for scooter rides now. That looks like fun. As for cheers... mom looked on the internet, and could not find any really good ones. She remembered a few from when her skin kids were on swim team, but it takes two teams to go through the two parts, or at least two people, and at the last game Oki and Poppy were not helping cheer. I wanted to bring the horn thingie but Mom said NO and she meant it. She doesn't even know if it still works. LOL I asked her and she said it would be okay if you want to email some through her email. Thank you. :) I had better get home and get some sleep because mornings in the country come fast. the sun peeks up early and Flooper announces it whether we want to sleep longer or not. It was nice sitting and talking with you. Come on over and visit anytime... we can have a picnic by the river... or go for a boat ride (Mom has a small boat) and watch the baby raccoons run around. They are fun to watch, and they still
