Hi Princess and Cydney
My sweet precious Lutino Twins! I just wanted to come by an tell you how it went with my dads drs visit today and to tell you how much I missed you but I know that your sweet Mom must still be in pain and trying to keep her foot up so she can heal faster! Please give her all my Mom's love and we give her warm wing hugs!

Mom left with dad at 9:15am and they got to the drs office.Mom was just going to drop dad off at the door so he wouldn't have to walk a great distance from the parking lot to the door when she came to help get dad out of the car,he got really sick, sweating profusely, getting really dizzy so she went in the drs building and got some help.A nurse came out with a wheelchair and in the meantime the receptionist unbeknownst to Mom went and called for an ambulance.By the time Mom got to the car they were all swarmed around it,EMT's,policemen, the people from the drs office! Mom was so upset, she kept trying to get someone to help get dad into see the dr and then one nurse said that the dr didn't want to see him,for him to go to the hospital. Mom was furious, the got dad out of her car and loaded him on a gurney, got him in the ambulance and took off, while Mom was falling apart, the other fire/rescue guys told her how to get to the hospital from there,Mom gets so nervous she can't see where to go,by the time Mom made it through the traffic nearly an hour later she went to see dad who was still in the ER,some tech came by and gave him some drugs for the pain, then a while later the dr came by and said he's set up for an MRI at Noon.Dad had to wait another hour, when dad came back from the MRI the dr told him that he had a separated disc in his back that was pressing against his spine and he needed surgery but the earliest he could get it was the end of September! So they sent dad home with some more pain killers and now dad has to get a drs note because he can't work as he can't drive, what a mess this is!Can you believe it,they're making him wait in pain all those weeks? And he's not even sure who to get a refill of the meds from if he can! Mom didn't get home with dad til nearly four this afternoon. She did a quick clean up of our cages and made dinner for dad and is now so egghauseted with maybe one day left before she takes Nana for her eye surgery on Wednesday over the Bridge.
Dad is sleeping nicely in the bed the first time in 6 days so Mom is hoping that the drugs they have him on will keep him sleeping the whole night, she'll take the couch if it means he gets some rest for the whole night!
Wishing you a great day and I'm sending you all my love along with warm birdie hugs and soft beakie kisses for my precious Lutino Twins! Loving you always and forever!Dixie and a vote for you too!
