Hi Blue Berry,
I probably would not get a conure. But $100, that's cheap. Even $300 is cheap. I've never seen one that cheap before. Our pet store sells them for $700. I have heard other members say that got their bird at a roadside pet store. What exactly is that? We don't have anything like that around here that I know of.
The tiel sounds like a better choice. I haven't even seen tiels in the pet stores. I would probably have to go to a bird store or a breeder. I may consider something else. I'm still deciding. I also want to make sure I have the time to spend with two birds and give them the attention they both need.
I'll keep in touch and let you know. Hope to hear from you soon. Left you a vote!
