Hi, Mackenzie
Thanks for liking the knitting. That was a hot pad mom made for a friend of skinsis. She's just finishing a second one so the friend has a pair. We mentioned to Raffikki what we made and told his mom how to make it and she made one too. If you check his gallery you can see he wasn't quite as mellow about posing with the hot pad as Silver was. Our mom was taught by hers as a child as well. She didn't keep it up. When she was late teens saw a pattern she wanted to make and after being retaught the basics then taught herself more as the years went on.

We shall see you when your mom has time to blog. Hopefully your parronts will find a good place to retire.

How entertaining the turkeys are. One wouldn't normally get to see displays like that. Do they make noise?

Have a great day, wing hugs, beak kisses and a vote, Pearl and Silver.
