(~> Oh my Sweet Featheriend, BabyGirl ...
Ya could've knocked me over with a feather today when The Boss gave me the word that I would be meetin' ya at The Gates o’ The Rainbow Bridge this afternoon. And I guess you're gonna hafta settle for a Greetin' Party o' One, since Your Special Big Fister Asha already took off with her daddy, Mr Tim, when he passed through on his way on up to Heaven earlier. When she left she made sure to give me special instructions to keep an eye on ya and watch over ya in case ya had to leave your mom before I got to go on to Heaven with my Mom. Well, they say it's all in The Boss's timing, and I guess he's kept my mom down there on the planet this long just so I'd be here to greet you, and so our moms could take care of each other with both of us up here now. But stick with me long enough up here, GalPal, and I'll teach ya all my tricks so that your mom'll know that there's still, and always will be, a part of you down there on the planet with her until the day that she herself stops by to pick You up on her way to Heaven! Like I said, all in The Big Guy's timing.

In the meantime, there's a whole bunch o' your old BirdChannel Pals that've already made their journeys up here to The Bridge that are just really eggscited to be able to welcome ya to this flock for as long as you're gonna be here. And some o' them are even wantin' to know what all they can do to make ya feel welcome. So I've already got 'em set to work on your Welcome Buffet for tonight's Reception for ya. Let me see now, I've got peanuts, sunflower seeds, apricots, banana chips, oranges, grapes and pomegranates, cheerios, honey flavored teddy grahams, trail mix, and McDonald's French Fries (salted is okay up here!). Is there anything else ya can think of ya want our chef's to add?

Okay then, let's get you settled in. First we'll stop by your new digs and see what you'll need to make it just the perfect space for ya while ya need it. Then we'll make sure we requisition everything on your list. Then I can take ya to the Communications Center and get ya all set up with an account on the HeavenNet so ya can get in touch with your mom whenever ya want to. Then I'll give ya The Nickel Tour. How does that sound? By that time, ya should just have enough time for a quick nap before your Welcome Reception gets underway. Ya ready, BabyGirl? Then let's get a move on!
