Hi Lalo... Pepper here...
Mom is supposed to take me back to the vet again tomorrow, but he said he is going to phone her in the morning. He called the other day and Mom was very impressed. The vet Mom brings us to now is greyt. He doesn't take us into another work to work on us - Mom sees everything. Mom is doing hydro massage therapy on me every night before she puts on the antibiotic cream and new bandage. It is to help me to learn to move my toe again. She was shown what to do and she is doing it. Her problem is I squirm a lot. I do not like to be toweled. Afterall, I am a Grey. Mom has taken pictures of my wound, and it is starting to heal, but it is slow, not something that will happen overnight. When I am all done, I demand to go up, and Mom takes me to the kitchen for some special treats. The best way to console me after torturing me is to feed me. LOL I mean, being in a towel for 20 minutes is a long time, and if I squirm and get partway out, it can take even longer. I do give kisses after it is all done though - I know Mom is doing the best for me. Sadly, I got out of a locked cage Lalo. The lock turned out to be defective and Mom is sickened by it and what could have happened. It could have been a lot worse! Under no circumstances are we left alone when any birds are out of the cages. Too many birds in our flock like to wander, and there is just too much to risk. Thanks for coming by and for keeping me in your prayers. Mom learned a lot about the circle of prayer here on BC. She will put something on the Calendar page after we see the vet tomorrow.
