8th & 9th innings
Top of the 8th: QLD Kiwi made it to second then raced for third on Quincy’s single. A ground out moved Quincy to second; Polly’s double would score both Kiwi and Quincy on the next play. (+2) She would become an RBI when Cookie slammed out a double of his own. (+1) This put the Dragons just two runs behind the ‘Tiels ... 11/13.

The ‘Tiels put an additional two run distance between them and the Dragons on the combined efforts of Kacey’s double, Joey’s single, Panther’s double and Peeper’s single, (+2) making the score 11/15, and the ‘Tiel Terrors ahead by four.

The 9th inning could’ve been the stage for a huge final battle but the Terrors had other plans. QLD Jade managed a double then scored when Kiwi killed the pitch for a triple (+1) but that was all Terror defense allowed.

Quaker Little Dragons: 12
