Hi Sugar
Wow, the Princess parakeet is really pretty!!

Mom's shoulder is still not doing well, even after the shot of cortisone on Thursday. In fact, she thinks it hurts as much from the shot as it did before, so now it is hurting in front and in the back of the shoulder! Not good, and if this keeps up she will insist on surgery when she goes back to the doc on 9/6.

I am having a good day. Mom is spending lots of time with me, because I am being so cute and adorable. Not buying that? OK, it is because she doesn't feel like gardening with that shoulder, but you didn't hear it from me!

Yesterday a young lady came by the house asking if we would keep an eye out for their bird that escaped. She didn't know what kind it was, and Mom couldn't ID it from her description. When Mom asked if the bird would step up if approached, she didn't know what that meant. When she asked what the bird's name was, she said it didn't have one. No wonder the poor thing escaped! We are watching for it, but no sign so far.
