Hi Lalo... Pepper here
Mom was frantic when she first saw me sitting on the couch, when she came home. She could not believe I was out of the cage. She knew she had checked all the locks on our cages - she always does that properly. She KNOWS I can get out only too well. This is the first and hopefully (in her mind) the last time I will ever do anything like this again. mom does know what to do. She has been shown, and shown well. She has the supplies in the house, and when she runs low, she gets more... just in case. She is always hoping she never has to use them. We Greys are too smart though. Last night, there was still a little blood on the bandage, which is a good sign. That means there is proper circulation, and no gangrene during the healing process. The last part of the healing is the longest. The wound is still a little open and will be until there is no possible infection left, and until the skin starts to form over the part that is already healed. Mom says things are looking very good, considering the tip of my toe was hanging by a thread. Everything is attached, and I can move my toe again. When Mom does the hydro massage therapy, I help her now, and my whole foot moves in the water. My whole body moves - I want out of the towel. LOL Well, I got to run now. Well, fly... I can't run with this bandage on me, but interestingly I can fly with it. See you real soon. Thanks for stopping by. Mom thanks you for your prayers.
