Hi Charlie
We were so sorry about Uncle Dave passing away and didnt realize you were home alone but glad the parronts are home again. I am back on basics once more cause I was toe tapping again and wing flipping too. It will take a while but I sure eat anything mom gives me so not so picky now LOL. Yesterday morning we woke up to thunder and lightening and very hard rain. The parronts wanted to go to the Labor Day Festival since it is held Sunday and Monday both but Monday was suppose to be lots more rain then Sunday so they opted to go on Sunday instead. Finally the rain subsided and though it was cloudy the parronts went. From the rains we had on Wednesday of last week and then this rain where they had cars parked in a field was pretty squishy with water. Then once into the festival it was very muddy and mom was glad she wore her tennis shoes though she came home with mud on her legs, shoes and capris she had a good time. John Lege (the guy with the birds) was there and mom watched his show and talked to him a bit too since she knows him from the other bird shows and the warehouse being there at the same times. He had about 20 birds at least with him though not all performed they were well behaved. He even had an ekkie just like me mom said. Skin sis and her family were there also and they were muddy too …in fact anyone there had muddy feet at least. Mom even saw one boy take a fall in the mud and bet his mom wasn’t too happy with him LOL. “Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune with out the words and never stops at all.” V4U ~ Your forever friend, Gus (RIP Chi chi).
