Then Arthur and Saber both clamp their beaks shut because in all honesty, they're not sure where Sam is at the moment. He could be behind them, beside them or, shoot, even right in front of them and they wouldn't know it, not when Sam is in NINJA mode and likely ready to spring out at any given moment.

Saber points at Art then makes the motion of pulling back a bow string. Artie nods then quietly puts his bow up, an arrow balanced on his wingtip already. Pulling back, then holding for a moment, he eyes the vote button target. peeeeshhzzz — the arrow springs forward, piercing its way through the silence until it comes into contact with a firm surface. SPT~~~twaanananag.

"bullseye" Saber whispers over Artie's shoulder. "nice shot"

And then the two Greys disappear in the dark, blending in with the shadows as quickly as they appeared.
