Hi Smoky
Yesterday dad and a bunch of other volunteers took tires out of the river to clean it up. There is a place that would take them that day if they got them out. Dad said there was about 80 to 100 they got out but another 200 they didn’t have enough time to do them. They were all on a sandbar so they waded out to it with a canoe and loaded what they could into the canoe and then pushed it to shore where some other people would unload it. Too bad the states don’t make people pay an extra $2 more each tire and then get it back when they turn the tires in then. Bet there would be people picking up any tires others throw over board then too. “The joy of the journey is best measured by friends and not the miles.” Leaving a vote for you my friend~~ Hugs, Gus (RIP Chi chi).
