Hi Blue ♥
thanks for the ideas about the ramp. Maybe the senior citizen center would have some suggestions here.

Mom is enjoying playing with the flowers and now she can also work on the ones out in the yard..

The paperwork has started for mom's pension, they sent another letter today and mom has three choices to make. The first one is to talk her whole pension amount listed, that would mean dad would get nothing if mom passed away; the next option is for mom to take this listed amount and then dad would get mom's full pension if she passed; the final one is for mom to take this amount and get half of mom's pension amount. The weird thing about it is that all of the listed amounts are the same so it is a no-brainer, mom will take option two so dad will get the full amount.
Mom went to see the nephrologist on Thursday, mom is not too sure about her yet, she was very quiet when they entered her office, she was reading mom's file, she was reading for about another 1/2 hour. She finally finished reading and began to talk to them. She asked why mom was there and mom said she didn't really know, just that her doc wanted her to come. Dr. Vassa then wanted to know what kind of arthritis mom had...that made dad chuckle since they have being trying to tell mom's doc that she has arthritis. Dr. Vassa is going to tell mom's doc to send her to an arthritis doctor. She is trying to figure out why mom is losing potassium. Mom has a couple more tests to do for a start. She has to collect all of her urine over a 24 hour period and then have a blood test done. Mom has never done that before. She also took mom off of a couple of her meds...she can't take her Aleve anymore and boy is she suffering, mom started hurting a lot Thursday night and the last two days was awful. Mom woke up in pain and couldn't move her fingers, it took mom about two hours to get them to move at all and boy have they been hurting a lot. Mom took some of her hydrocodone and it helped some but not a lot. Everything mom tries to do hurts...she also can't take her water pills anymore either. She is now has to increase her potassium pills and change her Vit D pills. I guess we will have to see how things work out.
The parronts are got everything ready for the bird club picnic today. Dad washed of the back porch yesterday and it looks good. Mom had a couple of things left to do, or so she thought, it ended up that the guests got here before she got finished. She used to get all panic stricken but she has mostly gotten over that. If it gets done, great, if not she hopes they don't notice the dust,
The Picnic was a great success. Dad was the official tour guide and he showed everyone the house and the birds. Everyone loved the house and the yard and of course lady, Jan, has a citron too like Taz and she brought him, Kiwi, in to meet me. They both looked at each other and didn't say a word. lol Scoober looked amazed to see two of them. When Jan went to take Kiwi home, I didn't wan
