Dear John
I'm so glad to have an understanding friend. My family are not bird people and don't understand that there really can be a very tight bond between bird and owner. They say, "Oh there're just birds". I don't think so. I've never owned a creature that could talk and instantly recognize me. Beavis starts calling for me if he doesn't see me for awhile. He still remembers the lengthy hospital stays. All my friends here on the BC understand and don't make fun or light of the relationships. I've met so many wonderful people, like you, that I feel very blessed to have given the BC a try. If you'd like to talk more, my email address is: Inca sends her love to Tiki. I always tell her what he's doing and she really seems to be calming down. Go figure. Well, I have a doctors appt. today. Hope to hear from you soon. Your friend, Joyce
