Hello Poirot
I have to laugh because it looks as though I'm looking over at "Mr. Poirot" from my BOTD photo. You're "sorry" about the raspberries had be laughing as well. The perfect response to someone's remark about your sound effects!

Brrr, it's cold at your place. Glad a little rain came with the chill. You've not had much of that summer, have you? It was summer-time temps here again today which was a good thing because Jenny Lynn, Lalo and Ziggy were down for a visit. We all got a good drenching with the squirt bottle which honestly felt pretty good since it was so warm out. Okay, I didn't really think it felt good; I made every effort to be as far away from which ever bird was getting misted. I'd given myself a bit of a bath in a water cup earlier and assumed I'd done well enough for myself, thank you very much. Arthur and Lalo, Jenny, Alfie and even Ziggy got into it though. And of course RaneBeau as well. He had the whole tail-shake thing going. Glad he did, he used up enough of the water in the spray bottle, there wasn't any left to come after me for a second misting.

About those llama photos, I can't believe I allowed that creature to get that close to me. There was some serious pressure on my feet so I wouldn't attempt to get away but still, had I been determined, I could've. Oddly enough, I acted as though I wanted to see just how close that giant goat would dare to get to my beak. (Frighteningly close, come to find out.)

I so hope it works out for you to be at the Milonga. Yes, oh yes, it would be wonderful to get to spend some time together there. Keeping my toes crossed...
